Loved everything. Great value for Paris!
We are so happy that we found Hotel Helussi. It was the perfect base for our 6 days in France. Located in a safe neighbourhood with groceries, pharmacy, and restaurants nearby. Also easy walking distance to the subway and train stations. The staff, especially Katia, were friendly and helpful. They were always checking to see if we needed anything and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was an awesome start to each morning, and the sauna was a great treat at the end of a long day of sightseeing.
Great location with proximity to subway and train stations.Located in a safe area. Staff, especially Katia, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was plentiful, delicious and relaxing. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great sauna!
Thank you for your hospitality and smiling faces.. the location of the hotel, and the services, breakfast, being close to the main and famous districts put the hotel in significant point... we used transportations during our trip and metro is walking distance from the hotel.
Well situated, close to Gare du Nord, but also lots of neighbourhood bistros and supermarkets. Within walking distance of Sacre Coeur and Galeries Lafayette, although we are big walkers and walked everywhere anyway. We had a courtyard room which was cosy. No traffic noise, although the hotel is on a very quiet street, so I imagine there's very little noise anyway. Bathroom very good, decent shower and toiletries, also big fluffy towels. Breakfast is fine, cereals, yogurts, cheese, meats, pastries. Everything you need. Staff are lovely, good English and very friendly. Would stay again.
We didn't stay here very long but the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were accommodating to our needs (i.e. were able to keep our luggage after the check out time as our departure from Paris was later that night). We were concerned about bed bugs but did a inspection of the room when we got there and found no traces and did not notice any bed bugs when we got back to our home country as well. The location isn't super close to the main tourist attractions but the metro is nearby and it is fairly easy to get around using transit. Our main concern was safety and the hotel area felt very safe. The cost of a 1 night stay was expensive but they did upgrade our room when we got there for no extra charge and Paris is an expensive city in general. Would stay here again!
I stayed at the Hotel Helussi from September 16 to 22, 2023, as a solo traveller on my first visit to Paris. I very much enjoyed my stay, largely due to the staff and the facilities.
Good points: Friendly and attentive staff, someone on duty at all hours for security, and they even helped me with a package delivery for an online purchase I made.
The room was large by Paris standards, with ample space to lay out my luggage. The bathroom was clean, modern and the shower heater worked fine. It also has a safe, a coffee machine and a mini-fridge.
Location: Helussi is a bit far away from the touristy areas of Paris (e.g. Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe), but it is very near the metro station Poisonniere, and from there you can get around quite easily. The metro station for the Louvre Museum is on the same line, for example.
It is also close to the trendy Montmarte area and the Gare du Nord train station. Best of all it is located some distance away from the main roads, so there is no traffic noise at all during the nights, making for a good sleep.
Hiccups: The air-conditioning panel in my room was locked and did not respond to my input. However the air-conditioner still worked, and the staff said they would get a technician to check it out. There was also one day where room cleaning services were not available, but the staff offered either free breakfast or a free cruise on the Seine River to make up for it.
Overall, I would recommend the Helussi for a extended stay in Paris if you're travelling solo or with a partner.
We stayed here for a week. Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff! Can't beat the location on a quiet street with walking access to subway stations, Gare du Nord, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Highly recommend it! We hope to return again!
